New Years Eve!

Well, it's time again to say goodbye to another year. A lot has happened this year for my family and me. We lost 2 of my aunts, Claudia and Louise, 2 uncles, Hicks and Vernon, my stepfather, EJ and my sister, Carol. My son, Adrian and his girlfriend, Summer got married on August 27th and they are doing well. My little brother, Jonathan, was in a terrible car accident and crushed his kneecap and found out he was epileptic. I finally got finished being a real estate assistant for other agents and started being an agent myself and I have done well. My Grandfather has found a home to rent that is closer to my Mom and me so he is really really happy. I have started working out more and within the last week have started logging my calories because I need to get a handle on what I'm eating.

When we first moved to TN I weighed in at 180 pounds!!!!! Now, I'm only 5'3 so that is a lot of pounds! It didn't help that I was drinking 2 margarita a night, every night - not because I'm an alcoholic but because I loved the taste (anything lime gets my attention) and it was my way of just relaxing after stressful workdays. Once I stopped doing that my weight slowly got better and I started adding in exercise. But, as it goes, life gets in the way sometimes of my goals and I was on again, off again with exercise BUT I am consistently getting back on the workout wagon once I get off so that is a good thing. I am down to 154 now and working hard to get it lower.

My goals for this year are to continue with exercise and eating better but also to pay off some bills and get them out of my hair. So, needless to say, I will be working hard to make that money to do that. I still have my goal of becoming a millionaire - and I will make it happen!

This year I will make the decision to switch companies or not so along the way I'll be gathering facts.

Today was a good day too! It felt good to sleep in and get some things done around the house. Also cooked dinner for the family and it was good and we all had a good time. My grandpa is just so excited and so happy with his new house. He's like a little kid again.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I know this is going to be the very very best year ever for our family!!
